Once upon a weird time,
There I lied in the dark
Alone and lonely in the room
All of a sudden, stood a man
In the corner with a chair
Was I brave to question whom
Hello, Stranger, who are you?
Answered the stranger with a smile
I am ‘I’, no more or less
The golden field, was I born
Where the sun never sleeps.
Confused and scared I answered back;
I have no friend from land of the Sun
Standing here in the dark
‘I’ cannot be the name for thee

For now you must leave the room
They’ll wait for you behind the door

All alone in the dark,
Where to go? whispered I
Gone is ‘I’, and lost am I
Who is there and who is not?
All of a sudden shouted a voice,
Hello, Stranger, what is your name?
I shouted back into the dark
Who are you and where am I?
Not a thing, understand can I
Then you’ve come to the perfect man
Two busy wings, a hat that glows bright
A map in his hand, a compass in another
