The unexpected storm has plundered our towns.
The world has been stopped, distorted and ripped apart.
The invisible devil has
Bedimm'd the noontide sun, call'd forth the mutinous winds,[1]
Built solid walls between us,
and shackled our ankles to the ground.
These are not natural events; they strengthen
From strange to stranger.[2]
O say, but who are we?
We are trailblazers;
Leaving the indelible footprints in the most bleak desert,
Sowing a grasp of echo in midst of the darkest void,
Reaching for an invincible summer in the depth of winter.[3]
O noble friends, countrymen, lend me your ears![4]
Among the raging tempest
We did not and shall not stop!
Souls so firm, so constant, that this coil
Would not infect our reason[5]
We are the BRAVE NEW VOICES.
We are the BRAVE NEW WORLD.

친애하는 용감한 아무개씨,
이 기묘한 신세계에 오신 걸 환영하오.
무사히 만나게 되어 반갑소.
부디 그대의 2020년이
너무 많은 상실의 시간이 아니었길 바라오.
예상치 못했던 폭풍우는 우리에게서 많은 것을 앗아갔지.
세상은 강제로 멈춰져 뒤틀리고 찢어져 버렸소.
고약하고 보이지 않는 악마가
정오의 태양을 흐리게 만들고, 불온한 바람을 일으켜[1]
우리 사이에 벽을 세우고
발목에 족쇄를 채워버렸소.
이는 인간이 일찍이 밟아본 적이 없는 괴상한 미궁이자
자연의 뜻이라고 할 순 없는 고난이오.[2]
아아, 그러나 우리가 누구요?
우리는 누구보다도 앞서서
가장 적막한 사막에서도 지워지지 않는 발자국을 남기며,
가장 어두운 공허 속에서도 메아리 한줌을 뿌려 놓고,
가장 깊은 겨울의 심연에서 한 줄기 불굴의 여름[3]을 찾는 자들이라오
아아 숭고한 친우들이여, 내 말을 들어주시오![4]
몰아치는 폭풍우 속에서도
우리는 결코 멈추지 않았소!
이 같은 혼란 속에서도 꿋꿋하며
변함없는 의지를 가진 자들이기에. [5]
우리는 용감한 목소리들이요,
의로운 신세계가 될 것이외다.
